Welcome
Study decorating, art and antiques with professional
designers and artisans. We offer a wide variety of courses. You
may take all of the courses for certification, or you may take individual
courses for personal enrichment. Some courses will even take you
to Provence or Paris.
Individual Courses
for Personal Enrichment
(non-certificate)
You may enroll in single courses for personal enrichment. See below
for selection.
Full Certificate
Program
(Certificate in Art, Antiques, Interior Design & Decorating)
To earn the certificate, complete 90 hours of instruction-3 core
courses and a minimum of 36 hours of electives-within 2 years, and
attend 90% of the class meetings. An application is required so
that progress toward completion of the Certificate can be recorded.
In most cases, you do not need prior work experience or related
education. See below for selection.
CERTIFICATE
IN ART, ANTIQUES, INTERIOR DESIGN AND DECORATING:
CORE CLASSES
ELECTIVES
If you have taken any of the listed courses in the past two years,
you may submit a registration sheet verifying completed courses
and attendance, and the courses will apply toward the Certificate.
You do not need to take the core courses before taking the elective
courses; however, it is recommended that Introduction to Interior
Design be taken early in the program.
This program does not qualify you as an interior designer, but it
does qualify you to assist in the field. To qualify as an interior
designer in Florida, you must earn a bachelor's degree from an accredited
school.
