George Edmunds joined Florida Atlantic University in September 1990 as the Director of Technology Programs, Open University & Continuing Education. George has worked in the information technology field for 15 years and has a broad knowledge of training and certification issues. Under his leadership, professional certification programs offered by FAU have helped thousands of individuals and hundreds of companies acquire the skills needed to advance and stay ahead. He was also instrumental in helping FAU to receive Premier NAEC Status by Novell, Inc., for providing the highest quality of customer service and excellence with training and certification. From 1985 until joining FAU, George served as the director of computer training at Kennesaw State University, where he developed courses and programs for business applications.
